The vehicle and pedestrian traffic in Abandoibarra was organised thanks to the Avenida de Abandoibarra, a large avenue that serves new public and private uses.
On this road, both directions of traffic are separated by a 12-metre wide tree-lined and landscaped central reservation along which the tram runs. The other two main streets in this area are Ramón Rubial and Avenida Lehendakari Leizaola.
