The building was completely rehabilitated by BILBAO R\u00eda 2000, following the project by the architect Jos\u00e9 Luis Burgos, who took special care to respect its character as industrial heritage. It is currently home to CEDEMI, a public initiative for business development on the Left Bank of the Nervi\u00f3n.
